Stardust!

Come, I will tell you how
The sphere we stand on came to be!

There once lived a star
Shining merrily in the river of stars
One day he stopped and watched the neighbouring stars
He saw them outshining him from a distance so far
He would have travelled infinite miles but they would still be afar
Hurt, saddened he decided to grow big
Decided to take the path he thought no one ever did
Unknown of hist tragic fate

He grew into a mighty star
So big, he outshoned every single star
He blazed and shined so hard
They watched him in awe spinning proudly, from afar

But soon he grew weak and so big
It made him squeal like a dying pig
Before one could come to his aid
He died, with much unsaid
In a blinding flash he broke apart
And remained the clouds of ashes in parts

Such was the death of the star
An innocent, stupid star
But for long remained his ashes, swirling in a cloud
Giving birth to a planet where we stand afar!

Come, I will tell you how
The love I hate came to be!

Death of a star!

I watched the folks in a jewellery store, gaping at the gold led before. They smiled and awed at the shining gold, and wondered why. Unaware, ignorant of the fact that it once shone brightly in the sky. In order for us to live, A star must die! The sun, the moon, the planets and asteroids, including    the earth where we reside. Once shone brightly in the sky. In order for us to live, A star must die! The air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, the clothes we wear, the life we love, and the death we fear, it’s possible because  it  died. The things we love each other for to the gold we kill each other for, once brightly shone in the sky. In order for us to live, a star must die! A star that lived before us, brightly shone in the sky. It still shines brightly, as us, now that it has died. In order for us to live, a star must die! A star must die!       ...

Note: This is a prologue of a short story that I have to write. I need suggestions on sentence formation, grammar and writing style, so feel free to criticise.  'I must reach the sun', I thought looking at the hundreds of glistening pieces of our beloved star. A giant fireball cut into pieces by the icy ocean. My body went numb to save me from dying. But for how long? The funny thing about our sophisticated human body is that, when it's submerged into water at subzero temperature; the blood is withdrawn from our limbs and torso then sent to our brain to save it from dying. But the only possible way for it to survive is to get out of the water. So how can it survive if the body is numb and unmovable? How can I? But I have to live. I must live. I must reach the sun. My body craves for oxygen; I have to breathe. I must move. I must reach the sun.                     ***
