Independence Day

Every year the same day
We celebrate and pray
On our independence day

Dishes and cakes, we bake
Vows and promises, we make
All to make fruitful
Our hard earned, independence day!

Once again comes the auspicious day
We prepare for all we do, all we may
But let's not do all the same
This time, let's play a different game

The wars of lands & countries are long gone
And what's been done cannot be undone
So let's forget about countries now
And think about our 'planet' this time!

PS - though written on the occasion of India's independence day, it isn't just for "Indians"

blah! blah!!

There is a darkness in me, I do not know how it’s shaping me.. Or is it I, turning into me? To find the things choking me, I went to the desert across the sea, To find nothing but a lonely hill. I crept forward and climbed the hill. I saw; struggling worm, in a bird’s bill, I smiled; ‘It’s me who’s withholding me.’ ================================================ I’m gentrified, Oh! I didn't lie. I say this not to defy, But to say good-bye. I tried hard to play my part, But couldn't keep your thoughts apart. So, the hardest part was letting go, not taking part. I knew I had to tell, To break this spell. But you couldn't tell, What made me fall, And why you look so tall… =======================================================================

Untitled

The earth stood still and the sun went round,  With the blistering moon and the stars all around.  I stood and watched as the smoke surrounds,  I choked to death with people all around.  I woke up.  I sat, silently in the hall  And I tried to recall.  The dream,  What could it possibly mean?  The infinite darkness in the sunlight beam.  Is it destruction’s grand scheme?

NUMBERS

Life! As we call it. They say it all started some 13.77 billion years ago, and the maelstrom of particles then lead to this planet and us residing on it. Some say 'GOD' created all this. However it all came to be, there are about 8.7 million species on this planet and they all have many different sensory organs to perceive this world. The eye however is considered the best way to behold this absolutely majestic universe we live in. But I never knew how it all looks. No! I'm not blind; I never knew how the world looks physically. All I can see are numbers, equations, letters and symbols. Some I learned, some I haven't yet, and some doesn't exist in any books on this planet.  PS : This is just a concept for making a short animation video I am thinking about....
