Introspection

Squandering in the meadow
In the darkness of the shadow
I saw the sun blazing hard
Shapes falling apart

When things fell back into place
I found myself with a new face
With burning pictures all around
I was burning my house to the ground
Thick smoke rose all around
Blinding my eyes, it took me by my hand
Landed me on an unfamiliar land
Gigantic people walked in the merry town
Baffled, I ran around in the scary town
Afraid, I searched for a hiding hole
Like a tiny mole
Whilst the moon burned my soul.

Note: This is a prologue of a short story that I have to write. I need suggestions on sentence formation, grammar and writing style, so feel free to criticise.  'I must reach the sun', I thought looking at the hundreds of glistening pieces of our beloved star. A giant fireball cut into pieces by the icy ocean. My body went numb to save me from dying. But for how long? The funny thing about our sophisticated human body is that, when it's submerged into water at subzero temperature; the blood is withdrawn from our limbs and torso then sent to our brain to save it from dying. But the only possible way for it to survive is to get out of the water. So how can it survive if the body is numb and unmovable? How can I? But I have to live. I must live. I must reach the sun. My body craves for oxygen; I have to breathe. I must move. I must reach the sun.                     ***

NUMBERS

Life! As we call it. They say it all started some 13.77 billion years ago, and the maelstrom of particles then lead to this planet and us residing on it. Some say 'GOD' created all this. However it all came to be, there are about 8.7 million species on this planet and they all have many different sensory organs to perceive this world. The eye however is considered the best way to behold this absolutely majestic universe we live in. But I never knew how it all looks. No! I'm not blind; I never knew how the world looks physically. All I can see are numbers, equations, letters and symbols. Some I learned, some I haven't yet, and some doesn't exist in any books on this planet.  PS : This is just a concept for making a short animation video I am thinking about....
